Darcy Lueking Bahensky is a writer from central Nebraska. She went to film school at the University of Nebraska and continued her post-graducate screenwriting studies at UCLA. Darcy worked for CAA, FOX, and Broadway Video before returning home to Nebraska where she works remotely, writing for television commercials.
Since returning to Nebraska, she has written, produced, and directed three short films: Now or Forever, merMADE, and Just Me.
In her spare time, Darcy likes to arrange elaborate charcuterie boards and dress her infant daughter up in silly hats.
Her husband, Ross, is an accountant. Their marriage was the byproduct of an elaborate plot engineered by Darcy's mother... who is also an accountant.
And, yes, she knows that her name is unwieldy, but she's used it too many times now, so she's sticking with it.
